If you are in B2B Sales and struggling with a low SQL to closed won conversion rate, hear me out. I have seen this many times: The conversion rate is low, stagnating, or even decreasing. Other sales metrics are looking fine – Increasing number of leads – Low churn rate – High customer satisfaction What are the reasons for a below-average conversion rate? – You miss the essential customer actions (like checking the trial version) – You work with standard playbooks – You don't listen to the customer (e.g., when he goes on holiday, and you still follow up) Or, in short, you are far away from the customer. The single most important thing in B2B sales is to stay close to the customer – Note down when the customer is not available – Understand their buying behavior and involved stakeholders – Be present when the customer is ready In short, it is crucial to understand the customer's buying behavior. How do you ensure that your conversion rate develops positively? #sales #conversion #customerunderstanding
