Firstwatch Gear Supports Recovery Efforts In The Wake of Hurricanes Helene & Milton Professional marine rescue gear manufacturer Firstwatch Gear has donated essential gear to support the efforts of first responders and volunteers in the wake of back-to-back hurricanes Helene and Milton. Hurricane Helene devastated several southeastern states and Firstwatch stepped up with donations of gear to support first responders in Tennessee and North Carolina facing challenging rescue operations in hazardous floodwaters. As Hurricane Milton approached Florida’s Gulf Coast, Firstwatch staged equipment so that has been received by Florida’s first responders - as part of their ongoing commitment to support recovery operations across the region. All 3 shipments included an assortment of Firstwatch rescue gear including inflatable vests, waders and throw bags.
