Professor Loreto Carmona of SPIDERR partner Inmusc has exciting news about the #EULAR-Manifesto, she said during the Press Conference at #EULAR2024: "On April 7th, we launched The EULAR Manifesto, a list of solutions that we have combined for policymakers to tackle the Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Disease crisis. With this list, we aim to protect European citizens from chronic pain, disability, and even to prevent other non-diseases with high mortality. In 2022, total healthcare spending in the U.S. was approximately $4.5 trillion. We spent a large portion of this money on treating age-related diseases and conditions (Office of the Actuary, 2023). This figure doesn't even count the lost opportunity costs/lost productivity that is a byproduct of this silver tsunami...
