Here's to the Curious... Last week, we spent time with Randall Spare, DVM from Ashland (KS) Veterinary Center. We were on-site working on a project to document how modern veterinarians are staying ahead of managing disease in their herds. And of course, every successful veterinarian knows that practicing veterinary medicine is as-much (if not more) about 'the people' as it is 'the animals.' When asked what qualities he values in working with others, 'Curiosity' was in his top-three. For Randall, thinking about the whys/why nots of animal health is key — Curiosity is the engine that leads to innovation and continuous improvement. More about Dr Spare is coming, but for now, we thought you'd enjoy the inspiration (and probably the toughest-looking photo we've taken this year).
