Day 1 of VetForum USA has officially kicked off in Austin, Texas!  We started with a warm welcome from our Conference Chair, Bruce L. Truman, MBA, setting the stage for insightful discussions and networking. The conference session then kicked off with Chris Kelly and Candise Goodwin diving into the industry’s trends and discussing how consumer influence is reshaping the landscape. Ryan Gallagher from Scribenote challenged us to consider what lies beyond innovation, followed by insight from Kevin Klass from Zomedica and Kyle Estes from Shepherd Veterinary Software on other key industry issues. We were then straight into the dynamic power pitches from MWI Animal Health, Amazon Business, Lupa AI Powered Petcare and MediProductions. 💡   A highlight of the day was the signature 1-to-1 meetings program—an exclusive feature that facilitates pre-arranged, 15-minute meetings between vet groups and vendors, fostering focused conversations and new opportunities. 💼 We wrapped up with sunset drinks and a delicious dinner, leaving us eager for Day 2! It's been a while since I shared some points about VetRec and this announcement is the best one to do so! 1. Welcome Crystal!! We are incredibly grateful to your commitment and dedication towards our same mission. Onwards! 2. We are hiring for multiple (10+) positions! Keep an eye out for our job postings in our VetRec (YC S23) page. 3. Team is growing and demand keeps growing. VetRec's month of October was absolutely crazy. We not only shipped amazing features (keep an eye out for our October Updates blog), but had the opportunity to sign many, many clinics! 4. AI Data and Security continue to be top asks when it comes to enterprise conversations. We will share more soon but it is great to see the early investments we made on HIPAA and SOC2 compliance paying off! 5.
