I know this seems to go against everything we want to do as parents BUT Your child will fail at things in their life and if we don't equip them for that, then we are not doing our job. Let them fail while you are still around to help solve things and pick up the pieces. To talk about why something failed and what the could do in that situation in the future. The alternative is to send them out into the world and let them fail at things all on their own, without support and without any experience of how to cope. The terminology of 'passing' and 'failing' suddenly becomes much closer to home at this time of year. If you have children who are facing up to the exam season, then now is the time to give them the best support you can.
