All through my time as Commissioner of #ESLProLeague, we focused on a balanced model where no more than half of the teams at each season's starting line were our #LouvreAgreement members (members that had developed strong and loved brands and rosters over years in #Counterstrike). The other half or more would always be other teams that had achieved their opportunity through climbing the rankings or succeeding at qualifiers. This has consistently made our competition unpredictable, creating cinderella stories, upsets and rarely-seen match-ups. Even in this last season, if you look at the Round of 16, half are members. If you look at the Quarterfinals, half are members. If you look at the Final today, half are members. There are many reasons I am proud of what we, including the members and the product team at ESL FACEIT Group - EFG developed and iterated, but this principle and what it delivers is a leading one. Today, #CS2 legends and #EPL members, winners of the last Major in Copenhagen Natus Vincere take on the mighty Turks at Eternal Fire , who eliminated recent #IEMCologne winners Team Vitality on their road to the Grand Final. We may only be a few weeks into Spring but Summer has already begun for our Crowd Safety team. From now till August, the SGC Security Services calendar is packed full of events ranging from concerts to rugby to football to festivals to horse racing! Many of the events we will be providing crowd safety security services to are annual occurrences that we feel honoured to be a part of year after year. Such events include: •'Newmarket Nights' at Newmarket Racecourse, along with many race days •Epsom Derby at Epsom Racecourse where attendance is expected to exceed 40,000 •Totfest, in both Yorkshire and Hertfordshire And many more!!! Meanwhile, brand new for this year, SGC will now be providing security services at Warwick Castle for multiple concert nights in July!
