Pearson did some amazing research on how English can improve lives. This research was done in Florida, but the implications are still broad. They found, for example, that "integrating into society is the top motivator for English language learning." In case you need a reminder of things you can do to improve your English (without booking a technical English course with me), here’s a list. Just pick one thing to do this week. Then pat yourself on the back for being productive. ☑️ Open your streaming service of choice (Netflix, Disney+, etc), and change your audio and subtitle language to English. ☑️ Subscribe to the newsletter of an English newspaper. This will be your daily 2-minute reading exercise. I like the New York Times. ☑️ Talk to yourself - in English! There's a link in the comments if you want more details on this technique. That’s it.
