I am pleased to share that we have officially established the Indoor Environmental Management Center at Konkuk University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. This national center, designated by the Ministry of Environment and directed by Prof. Jo-Chun Kim, is tasked with managing multi-million-dollar projects to develop regulations and policies for the indoor environment. Additionally, the center manages numerous R&D projects focused on indoor air quality monitoring, ventilation, and treatment technologies, with the goal of protecting vulnerable populations.

Another publication on Medium! I have always loved local actions with global perspectives, so here's one for the environment. "Balancing Development and Nature: Lessons from European Environmental Impact Assessments for Nigeria’s Future." In this publication, I explored Europe's outstanding EIA strategies and referenced relevant adoptions to the unique Nigerian context. You can also check out the amazing Øresund Bridge Project! Worthy of note: Implementation and acute execution of laws/policies will lay the bedrock of in environmental matters in Nigeria!

Shina Ansari, Head of Iran’s Department of #Environment, held her first presser in #Tehran Speaking to reporters, she said a link must be established between the economy and the environment. Additionally, until we have an economic perspective, we cannot have principled environmental management, for example in waste management. PUBLIC COMMENT SOUGHT ON WESTPORT KWINANA ASSESSMENT The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has begun consultation on the first stage of its assessment of the proposed Outer Harbour Port Development in the Kwinana Industrial Area. The proposal is part of Westport, the State Government plan to move container trade from Fremantle to Kwinana. More than 150 scientists from the Western Australian Marine Science Institution (WAMSI)'s partner organisations are delivering 30 research projects to increase knowledge of Cockburn Sound as part of the WAMSI Westport Marine Science Program. China’s domestic environmental industry rapid development led to 90% of equipment can rely on domestic manufacturing. Domestic player’s products are cost-effective as the fierce competition. Currently China environmental industry equipment only 2% exported.   In the future, we expect more Chinese environmental protection products to go abroad, which may help improve the supply chain for international players.  #water #supplychain #China #waste #development #equipment
