EU Commissioner Stéphane Séjourné and Frank Nopper, Mayor of Stuttgart, visit MAHLE In the run-up to the Baden-Württemberg Automotive Summit on January 16, Stéphane Séjourné, Executive Vice President for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy of the European Commission, and Stuttgart's Mayor Dr Frank Nopper visited automotive supplier MAHLE. Markus Kapaun, Member of the MAHLE Management Board and CFO, explained MAHLE's strategic approach of technological diversity for sustainable mobility to the visitors and presented cutting-edge MAHLE innovations: The bionic high-performance cooling fan, making electric trucks significantly quieter under full load or during fast charging, new components for even more efficient hydrogen engines, as well as the BatteryPRO product line for holistic battery diagnostics and maintenance of e-vehicles. In addition, Kapaun presented MAHLE's technology for the wireless charging of electric vehicles, which has now been certified as an international standard, to the EU Commissioner and the accompanying delegation.
