📚 Unlocking the Wisdom Within: Why I Keep Every Book 📚 This is part 2 of my "giving back" series. Today, I want to share a little insight into my bookworm tendencies and why I hold onto every book I read. 📖 Here's the thing: every time I revisit a book I've read previously, I derive new and different value. This is because I'm not the same person I was when I last read the book. Read that again. The thing is, I'm always at a different place in my personal or professional life than I was before. I've grown (hopefully). This reinforces my idea that our ability to learn is shaped by our current perspective—the "you" that exists right there, right then, in that moment is not the same "you" that will re-read that book next year, or 5 years down the road! That's the magic of learning and growth. As we evolve, so does our ability to derive knowledge from our experiences - and our interpretation of that knowledge grows with it. So, why keep every book? Because they're not just collections of words on a page—they're portals to new understandings, catalysts for personal growth, and repositories of wisdom waiting to be rediscovered. And the best part? This post isn't even about books. #growth #innovation
