Head of Direct Healthcare Property

The importance, scale and operational nature of large healthcare facilities means their environmental impact can often be overlooked. Even more significant than that, Herston Quarter’s Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) has just become the first hospital in Australia to receive a 5 Star Green Star Performance rating by the Green Building Council of Australia   A collaboration between Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust as the landlord, Metro North Health as tenant and Cushman & Wakefield as facility manager, STARS provides specialist care for rehabilitation, elective surgery, endoscopy and outpatient services in Brisbane.   Some exceptional individual efforts from our team and all involved in such a groundbreaking community development and offering Australia a case study in green hospital building and operations.  https://lnkd.in/gvK5Zb_F  Parag Shinde Sonya Wilkinson Vivianne Jones Scott O'Donoghue Chris Smith Chris Burnell Daniel Rossi Simon Ng Metro North Health #healthcare #socialinfrastructure #innovation #esg #socialimpact #sustainability
