To outmanoeuvre is one thing, to forestall is quite another. 😉

Another bloom joining my "#sanctions work, just not as intended" bouquet... ☺️ Intel Corporation components which happen to be "compatible with Su-35S and Su-34 fighter jets, Korsar drones, and Kalibr missiles" along with a variety of other #microchips find their way to fix #Russia's "#military hardware" says the new report by Belarusian Investigative Center. ... But I was told that the "#Russian military is taking #chips from dishwashers and refrigerators to fix their military #hardware because there are no #semiconductors anymore" -> https://lnkd.in/eZEsZ56s I am confused...🥹 #cocorico #DivinaCommedia 🤭😉 __ #semiconductormanufacturing #semiconductorindustry #geotech #geopoliticalrisk #internationalrelations #techwar #policy #policymaking #internationalrelations #internationalaffairs #businessintelligence

Very interesting … but thi is normal: after all, among the buyers of Russian oil are the United States.... Business is business and all wars, current as well as past ones, are business and the war in Ukraine is certainly no exception. Ideological issues are just pretexts and are mostly used for propaganda, to attribute a value guise to what is not at all... And meanwhile young people on both sides die under the illusion that they are fighting for the defense of the high ethical values that they are told are what they are worth sacrificing themselves for... On the other hand, history, the real one is certainly not learned in school... and the reality of things is quite different from the fables told by the various courses and corsets... Cynicism? No, just knowledge of the facts ...

El Mayo had implemented a fentanyl fatwa in October 2023 & per news reports he had dropped 10-20 bad actors & left about $500mm in fentanyl sitting with a do not touch sign next to the shipment. It just sat there. Why did DOJ work with El Chapo's 30 something yr old son to kidnap him to the United States. War has escalated in Mexico,US border and the fetty is flowing again. The reality is that, fighting crimes of humanity, is at best a forever stalemate with unnecessary death & taxpayer cost.I respect that some people's religious or moral beliefs view taking drugs, prostitution and gambling as behavior that goes against your core values. However you have to extend the same courtesy to others to allow them to follow their belief system. Pushing things into the underground that will perpetually have demand is not effective. Sex workers in Belgium are entitled to receive contributions towards pensions from brothel owners & other benefits such as maternity leave. The Netherlands has retirement packages depending on corporation. They pay taxes, encounter less violence,& don't cost society any money for law enforcement, court,or jail costs. Yet somehow the crimes against humanity persist with little care.

Truckloads/shiploads of refrigerators must enter Russia through 22407 km of borders. The West needs to improve in policing this traffic.
