Its been almost 6 months of staying in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and being in marketing field, I have been closely observing the style of marketing here. Depending upon the demographics and purchasing style of people, marketing techniques vary. Here Marketing is majorly based on user generated content. #Customer reviews, customer photos/videos, posts by customers, word of mouth etc are major marketing techniques prevailing. Lately, another very prominent practice here has been Influencer Generated content. Brands spend a very good amount and time on PR and branding through influencer marketing. 1 Sale announced and almost every famous content creator will promote the same. And this is how, the sale just strucks the mind and the consumers tend to purchase the product. And one thing that fascinated me was how strongly #TOURISM and the beauty of the country is being promoted and shown to rest of the world. Almost every big event, every affair related to nature or any new infrastructure event - it is talked upon by all the influencers and content creators in their own unique way. Not only language or currency or fashion varies but #MARKETING also varies from Country to Country!
