🚀 Kick-off for the STRONG-UR Research Project! Last week, Aalborg University had the honor of hosting the first meeting of the groundbreaking EU-funded STRONG-UR project, bringing together academic and commercial partners from across Europe 🌍 This project aims to revolutionize tissue reconstruction through bioprinting. The focus is on repairing damaged tissue by developing advanced bioprinted structures, particularly for the male urethra. STRONG-UR is creating customized 3D-bioprinted components and biomaterials to pave the way for clinical use of personalized engineered tissue. We are proud that the Department of Urology at Aalborg Universitetshospital and Forskningsenheden, Nyre- og Urinvejskirurgisk Afdeling Aalborg UH is participating as clinical partner in this innovative project.
