𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝟭/𝟯 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀. This is reflected in the Green Startup Monitor 2024 by the German industry association Startup-Verband. 🌱 Although the share of green startups slightly decreased in 2023 due to a difficult market environment mostly driven by tighter monetary policy, the numbers show that the Green Economy remains an important driver for the German startup ecosystem. That’s even more important, as green startups do not only benefit people and the planet, but they are also more likely… …to develop and produce new technologies, putting them at the core of the sustainable transformation of German industry. …to be supported by and cooperate with universities, contributing to the transfer of knowledge and innovation and putting theory into practice. …to collaborate with established companies, bridging the gap between the startup-ecosystem and the rest of the economy. 💡 We are proud to be part of this movement of green startups in Germany. But we are convinced, that even more startups would commit to green company strategies, business models and KPIs, if the regulatory environment was more favorable. 📄 That’s why we agree with the policy recommendations of the report, especially regarding better conditions for the utilization of sustainability-related research findings. #NeXtWind: We are taking the energy transition to the #NeXtLevel. #greeneconomy #startups #knowledgetransfer

Australian governments heavily funded startups like Stone & Chalk and Fishburners in the mid-2010s. Now, with global funding tightening and less government support, these organisations face scrutiny. Better data insights are crucial for maximising their impact, and guiding startups to sustained success beyond basic metrics. #startupenabler #startupgrowth #startupmarket
