As we advocate for a world that listens to children and prioritises their well-being, we must confront the systemic flaws that perpetuate their suffering. We must stand together to demand justice that is not only equitable but also sensitive to the realities faced by families. 📊 Our Impact in 2024: Supporting Survivors of Domestic, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence At Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge, every number represents a life touched, a story of resilience, and a step towards healing. In 2023, we're proud to have supported: 👩👧👦 68 women and 70 children through our refuge 💜 214 women through our outreach service 🗣️ 50 women with counselling support 🎨 34 children through therapy sessions These figures aren't just statistics – they're real people, real families, finding strength and hope in their darkest moments. Each represents countless nights of safety, days of empowerment, and moments of breakthrough. But our work isn't done. Rural areas account for majority of maternal mortality cases. because of poverty, illiteracy, lack of access to standard hospital. Together, we can close this gap by supporting initiatives focused on maternal health for all women, regardless of location." The stigma surrounding men's health remains a significant barrier to seeking help and support. Societal expectations of masculinity often discourage men from acknowledging their struggles or reaching out for assistance... Through my nonprofit, The Undie Chest, we recognize the urgent need to break down these barriers and support men in need, which is why this Arizona Gives Day... ...
