Cheers to celebrating the holidays responsibly.
NLC was proud to partner with the Newfoundland and Labrador Craft Beer Festival for their 12 Beers of Christmas event this past weekend. Staff were on-site to provide water and taxi vouchers to participants to help them stay hydrated and ensure a safe ride home at the end of the night.
‼️We’ve made some significant changes to the passport program!‼️
For the first time since launching in October 2020, we’re updating the LAT passport experience. Whether you’re here for a short weekend, a frequent visitor, or a Louisville lifer, we want to reward your efforts. Starting this month, new passports will feature five prize tiers, each with exciting new rewards.
Tier I: 5 Breweries - Prize Tier 1
Tier II: 10 Breweries - Prize Tier 2
Tier III: 15 Breweries - Prize Tier 3
Tier IV: 20 Breweries - Prize Tier 4
Top Tier: 25+ Breweries – Grand Prize, LAT Challenge Coin, and entry to win BEER MONEY.
No matter which tier you redeem, you can continue working towards the next prize tier.
Prizes ship 2-4 weeks after redemption. Grand prize must be picked up in-person. Learn more about tiers and redemption instructions here: https://lnkd.in/geQj6RyG
And as always, “old” passports never expire. Plus, it’s now easier than ever to claim your prize.
Cape May is a state of mind but also a place and it’s a beer, too. This is from a campaign made with friends at Canales & Co. currently storming the beaches of the Jersey Shore. It's for fans of sunny days, cold beers and extended run-on sentences.
For the last two years, Miller & Carter, in conjunction with Foyle Food Group and us, have achieved a gold medal for Rib Eye steaks at the World Steak Challenge. On Monday 11th November we were awarded the World’s best grass-fed rib eye award, a fantastic achievement for all involved.
The prestigious award was presented to Kim Black (Fairfax Meadow), Paul H. (Mitchells & Butlers PLC) and Daniel Chinn (Miller & Carter) at the World Steak Challenge.
This is a fantastic accolade at any time, but even more humbling as we celebrate our 50th year.
Beer for Anywhere | Beerpreneur & Founder of State Of Play, NZ’s First Zero Alcohol Brewery | Beer Online, Retail & Wholesale | Inspirational Keynote Speaker | The Truth About Alcohol | Strategic Business Consultant
Tonight i'm at Small Gods Taproom in Shaddock St for one of their epic events
This one will be about Beer, Gear, and walking into some Fear!
Let's have a beer together and hear the State of Play story - going alcfree, starting NZ's fastest growing brewery, the future of beer and how my mid-life anti-crisis continues walking 800kms across Spain.
First decision - what gear do I need? So I asked Ben at Living SImply.
Bar is open from 5pm and we will kick off 6:30pm till 8:30.
I love beer and love walking. So I'm combining my two loves and walking 800kms across the top of Spain on the Camino Frances next March. Spain has the highest percentage of non-alc beer at 15% share of total beer. SO lots of market research to do? And 40 days of needing a beer after a long walk.
But how do you prepare for a trip like this and who can you trust for the right gear and the right advice. I chose Ben at Living Simply (Newmarket) and bought one of their Aarn Packs.
These guys have all the best gear for your adventuring and trusted Camino advice.
We thought we would include some beers and the story of @stateofplaybeer, to a Camino special gear review and Q&A with the experts.
It's FREE to attend, buy a beer (there is plenty of State of Play) and if you have already walked a camino bring your memories.
Ben will bring along his best sellers to show for the Gear review.
I will have some State of Play cans for you to take home too.
Port Ellen, Islay scotch. What a beautiful distillery! If you wish to design and build a legacy plant like this, Omnia Technologies and Frilli S.R.L. can build the bridge between your vision and reality. Incredibly low energy and water consumption meet beauty and functionality. #OmniatechnologiesUSA#frillisrl#distilling#sustainability
Last month, Port Ellen distillery reopened its doors for the first time in over 40 years, welcoming former distillers and the local community to toast the landmark occasion.

Great quote from Jonathan Dennys in The Spirits Business today with Teremana Tequila, the importance of Bartender Advocacy...
However, Teremana’s launch into the UK off-trade was not in isolation. “We needed to make sure that we also had the on-trade covered,” said Dennys, who noted that the Tequila category’s growth can be attributed to the role bartenders have played in advocating for the spirit.
Dennys explained that training and education for bartenders on the Teremana brand “is so important”, as it can mean the difference between a consumer returning to the brand or distancing themselves from it. “Just being out by a little bit of a measure of something in a cocktail can make such a big difference to whether someone wants to buy another one or not. That’s why we’re really investing a lot of our time in educating on the perfect serve – how to best serve it, what the best mixes are – but also giving bartenders a little bit of information about the brand. When a customer is asking what Tequila they would recommend, a bartender always likes to add a bit of information for the good of the consumer.”

The NZ Ale Trail has been officially launched by the Brewers Guild of New Zealand, focused on highlighting local hospitality.
Following research conducted by Tourism New Zealand, which showed that 85 percent of visitors to New Zealand have food and drink tasting at the top of their priority list, the Brewers Guild felt the time was right to relaunch the new-look NZ Ale Trail.
“We want to be proactive in supporting both our brewers and hospitality businesses by creating a platform that makes it easier for visitors to explore what the industry has to offer."
