What regulatory approvals are needed prior to installing a commercial solar PV system? Important Announcement:   GUVNL has issued a guideline for procurement of RE Power without competitive bidding process.   Without a competitive bidding process, 500 kW to 5 MW solar projects and 500 kW to 10 MW wind projects can be set up to sell electricity to DISCOM.   Salient features of this guideline are as follows: Registration fees: 10,000/ MW Project Duration: 25 Years SCOD: For Solar – 12 months from PPA and For Wind – 18 months from PPA PBG: 10 lakh/MW Net tariff for Solar with AD Benefit: 2.48 Rs/Unit Net tariff for Wind with AD Benefit: 2.84 Rs/Unit
