Buyers are like gold at a trade show…..everyone wants face time!
Todays ASTRA PSA is simple but often forgotten in the moment. The real estate of every booth is paid for by a manufacturer. That is there office/building/home to conduct business. That is their space. As another manufacturer, you don’t need to be in that space, even if you see a buyer you know. Be respectful and mindful of their booth and their products.
You can greet someone while standing within the confines of the aisle and not in their booth. If a buyer is clearly working in a booth, please allow them to work. There are plenty of opportunities to connect throughout the show.
There are also times when I am headed to an appointment or working on something specific. Just because I don’t stop at your booth at that minutes doesn’t mean I won’t be back. I will walk this show, every single aisle, multiple time and multiple ways to be sure to see everything. It’s a show full of intense focus and fun!
