𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡 4: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐁𝐃𝐏 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐔𝐒 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: The largest proportion of IB schools in the world is in the US. Data shows that applicants from IB schools have a significantly higher acceptance rate to top US universities than applicants from non-IB schools. These four myths surrounding the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme need to be addressed and busted! Understanding the true benefits and strengths of the IBDP can help students and parents make informed decisions about their educational paths.
