Contractile performance is an essential function of the human heart. 2-D cardiomyocyte cultures are inadequate for assessing contractility as they cannot perform physiological contractions on rigid plasticware. A CBC machine, also known as a hematology analyzer, is a medical device that analyzes whole blood specimens and provides valuable insights for diagnosis and treatment. But, to truly understand this machine, we need to go beyond its basic function. To master any machine, you need to know its use, operation, and service and maintenance requirements. in our discussions,We'll explore the types of CBC machines, including 3diff and 5diff analyzers, which differ in their ability to classify white blood cells. #3Diff #5Diff #WhiteBloodCells The 3diff analyzer differentiates between three types of WBC (neutrophils, lymphocytes, and monocytes), while the 5diff analyzer identifies all five types, including basophils and eosinophils. We had great discussions in our packed lunch symposium at New York Valves! Presenters and audience members discussed biomimetic valve design, hemodynamics, and flow dynamics.
