Has community building failed? Thoughts?🤔 In late 2022 and throughout 2023, the concept of community was ablaze with enthusiasm and discussions across industries. Many companies and consultancies were diving deep into community-building strategies, explaining the power of fostering engaged communities around their brands or causes. Many of us had ⭐"building thriving and vibrant communities"⭐ in the profile's description 😁 However, I've noticed a "new" shift: many are now subtly changing their focus from "community" to "customer" again. ❓Is it a strategic pivot towards understanding the individual within the community, or has the concept of community failed? I know that many organizations still don't understand what a community is and how implement right strategies. And community-centred approach is different from customer-centred one🤷♀️ So...
