Yesterday to the backdrop of this beautiful view, the leadership team of Health Equity Matters led by CEO Dash Heath-Paynter did amazing work. Another example of wise and proactive leadership recognising the importance of strengthening the foundations for best ways of working. Given our speciality is our team repair and rebuild program, it is particularly inspiring to be asked to support an already strong and high performing team build on their strengths. This team is doing incredible work and bringing their skills, insight and experience to making a difference to their communities. In this workshop I saw the significant benefit of taking time to share personally and professionally. Bring your teams together. Ask questions. Be curious. Check in with them. Ask them what they want from each other. Find out their strengths and what they'd like to work on. Learn more about them as people. Create a shared agreement around ways of working. Include standing agenda items that build connection and encourage conversations that matter. These actions are a pathway to greater collaboration, cohesion, productivity and wellbeing.

#Communication- two way communication- is at the core of #buildingtrust. Quint Studer and Healthcare Plus Solutions Group are excellent resources in strengthening an organization's “most urgent pain points” (aka. how we can work better together 😊).
