I really enjoyed writing this article for the Institute of Health & Social Care Management's, The Loop Magazine. I focused on the topic of developing internationally focused leadership that values cultural diversity across organisations. There are many interesting articles throughout on issues across the sectors. https://lnkd.in/gT_eF82r #internationalleadership #culturaldiversity #organisationalleadership

It's one of my favourite days of the year later this week when we publish our Impact Report for the previous year. Here is a sneak preview. For me, as CEO, this is the best measure of whether we have had a good year. Of course, numbers are important too, and we all need profits to fuel all the other stuff we do. But how much positive impact we have had on people and planet is what is most important to me. You will find too, that we are completely honest. If we haven't achieved what we set out to do, we are authentic enough to say. We still have a long way to go! But the impact we have is why people come to us and why they enjoy working for us (see The Sunday Times Best Places to Work results on page 9). How do you measure the impact you have? And how do you celebrate your achievements, whilst also knowing we all can do so much more?

In the moments between each challenge and victory, gratitude emerges as the stepping stone to every new beginning. As the year draws to a close, let us pause and reflect on the remarkable journey each of us has taken. In high-pressure environments where performance and production often dominate, it’s easy to overlook the steadfast dedication, collaboration, and unwavering spirit that fuel every success. Yet it is precisely in these quieter moments of reflection where our most meaningful achievements shine. At TeamsynerG Global Consulting and RJC Global Impact, we are profoundly grateful to walk alongside you, and our global partners, in creating a future where the gap in equality and equity no longer exists. Your dedication to excellence and commitment to inclusive, transformative change inspire us all. As we stand on the threshold of a new year, let us unite in the spirit of gratitude and hope across borders, across cultures, and across generations. May we continue to honor each other’s journeys and celebrate the boundless power of the human spirit. Wishing you, your friends, and your family a beautiful holiday season and 2025 bring you an abundance of personal and professional prosperity.

Walking the talk & talking the walk 🚶♀️👄 We began rounding off year one of our new three-year strategy goals, adopted by our Board of Directors in September 2023, during our staff strategy days this week. The focus was on seeing to that responsible business & human rights frameworks cut across all our activities and operations. “The potential of responsible business conduct to stimulate development is undeniable, and when combined with Official Development Assistance (ODA) it can become a powerful lever not only for improved business conditions and sustainability in the value chain, but for development. Our staff really has a unique skill set when it comes to developing new tools and approaches to get the job done,” said Christine Bäckström, CEO. During our strategy days, we zeroed in on how we can support linking risks identified in companies’ due diligence across their value chains to a broader sustainability and development agenda via our USPs: 🤝 trust building among a wide range of stakeholders for meaningful and continuous stakeholder engagement, and 🌍 building in-country capacity to strengthen aligning with international sustainability standards. The sum of our strategy days = by being proactive and engaging long-term, we are uniquely positioned to address risks from a more systemic level by tying companies’ due diligence to better outcomes for people and planet.

Seeing that Lowell and Russ did this, I figured I would follow suit. Here's my 2024 LinkedIn Rewind, by Coauthor: In 2024, I discovered that the principles of spiritual leadership aren't just compatible with association management and nonprofit growth - they're essential to it. Clarifying intention while providing direction creates lasting change. This year proved what's possible when we bridge traditional divides: Leading with Purpose: • Appointed to U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management faculty, bringing mission-driven leadership principles to association management education • Elected Co-Vice President at Conservation Minnesota, expanding environmental protection through strategic leadership • Earned #QualifiedAssociationSpecialist certification, deepening expertise in association effectiveness Building Community Impact: • Expanded consulting impact through #mission-aligned partnerships • Developed new frameworks for #engagement-first growth • Advanced spiritual care innovation through SpirituWell Three insights that resonated deeply with our community: "It's not how many you serve--it's how you serve." On reimagining impact through member-centered benefits https://lnkd.in/g3zF-XMG "Since its commencement in 1921, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management has been educating tens of thousands of association, chamber, and other nonprofit leaders on how to build stronger organizations." On bringing mission-driven principles to association education https://lnkd.in/gT2S3AXg "Conservation Minnesota is dedicated to protecting people and places from pollution and climate change, ensuring everyone in Minnesota can enjoy the Great Outdoors." On expanding environmental impact through strategic leadership https://lnkd.in/gpByGtMJ Looking ahead to 2025: Focused on advancing association management excellence, expanding access to spiritual care, and driving environmental protection through mission-aligned leadership. The opportunity lies in bridging traditional divides to create lasting positive change. To our growing community of mission-driven leaders - thank you for proving that intention plus direction creates lasting change. The world needs your light now more than ever.

People, Leadership and Impact Recently, I came across France 24's people and profit channel. Not only did the channel title draw my attention, the reports coming in were so interesting I had to sit down quick-wittedly, absorbing every detail. Later, I found this on their website - We are a business show that goes beyond the numbers and the corporate jargon! We break down major business stories and look at how they affect lives. This reminded me of all the work we do at The GracedLife Leadership Centre - people, leadership and impact. These have come with wins, lessons and a few challenges yet our resolve remains unbroken. This year, we have pushed three of our leaders into funding opportunities worth about 3000 dollars, forged collaborations that have seen leaders get into competitions like the Falling Walls, Climate Advocacy Program but to mention a few. Just like the Bridgertons, a new season is upon us for which we are after "diamonds". As you may have noticed from the Bridgerton season 3, the love torch has been passed from "Kanthony" to "Polin". (I do hope, I have some Bridgertons fans here lol). While we may not be passing on a "love torch", we are giving you the opportunity to be part of a network of principled, change-driven servant leaders. The perks are uncountable! Apply here at https://lnkd.in/ewGRjUSB to become a TGLC leader. If you think this opportunity will benefit others, kindly do share with them as well. Have a swell day everyone

"Gen Z is entering the workforce and beginning to level up in a very different world from past generations. Many graduated during the pandemic lockdowns and then began working in a remote or hybrid capacity – meaning their onboarding and socialization has been rough at best. So, they have none of the context, but all of the pressure and 10x the technology many of your readers did when joining the workforce. "But let’s be clear, Gen Z doesn’t want your beliefs, affirmations or, condemnations we want your impact. This doesn’t mean employers are responsible for solving all of the world’s social problems, but it does mean that employers must be in tune with the issues and opportunities adjacent to their industry or workforce, and then co-create solutions with passionate young employees to make positive change. We aren’t looking for you to save the world, but we do expect you to help solve the pressing issues in your world." Super excited to be featured in Seton Hall University's In The Lead Magazine, focused on multigenerational workplaces. 👨💻 Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gYi9wNKB
