Today is DTU Startup Day and I look forward to speak about how we build deep tech champions in Europe. I will be joined by investors Anna Lundin from Norrsken VC and Tommy Ahlers from Look Up Ventures. The three of us come with different backgrounds as well as different perspectives on science based innovation, but I expect us all to be bullish on the potential of deep tech! In our panel talk we will wrap our heads around the journey from lab to market, including how we bridge the gap from university spin-out to the venture journey. All in all, some perspectives on how we build ecosystems fostering bigger, better, and stronger deep tech champions in Europe. With DTU being Danish champion in converting research into innovation - as previously found in an innovation analysis - expectations are high for the event overall, and in particular the +60 participating early-stage companies.
