🚨 Major US companies cut back on valuable internship experience!   Tesla, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan are among leading companies that are cutting down on internships, as highlighted this week in the Financial Times.   #Internships are vital in gaining valuable work #experience and without them, #graduates may enter the infamous catch-22 paradox ♻️   💼 You need a job to gain experience... 🤔 ...but you need experience to get a job   And the effects of this paradox are only intensified with entry-level jobs often still requiring unrealistic experience expectations 🤷🏽♀️   Companies recruiting young professionals should therefore place less focus on experience and instead adopt a #skills mindset, where graduates are matched to jobs based on the knowledge and skills they learn in their studies. 🎓   Do you know another example of a classic catch-22?
