Delegates at tomorrow’s Innovation Zero conference in #London are invited to join UN-ECE Transformative Innovation Network (ETIN) for a special side event on strategic learning for transformative innovation Title: Strategic Learning - The Overlooked Component of Sustainable Transformation Date & Time: May 1, at 14:00 BST Location: Room 3, Grand Hall, Olympia, London Innovation, as a vehicle to achieve a sustainable transformation of our societies while simultaneously promoting economic competitiveness, is increasingly embedded in both public policies as well as business practices. At the same time, the UNECE region is currently on track to achieve merely 18% of SDG targets by 2030, and more frequent shocks (e.g. Covid-19, war in Ukraine) have seen backsliding increase in some areas. This suggests that a problem of strategy exists in how we align aspirations and capabilities to achieve goals. The event sessions highlights how learning processes can be used to better enable this strategic alignment process, a concept called strategic learning for transformative innovation.
