What's better than the opportunity of working with Google? How about the ability to work from anywhere in the world. Zach Boyette’s story is truly inspiring and highlights the tremendous impact of remote work on fostering global connections and building successful businesses. Especially in contrasting his nomad experience to working at Google, an envious opportunity for most. But, Zack's experience at this well known company reminds me of a concept I learned about in a book about money and freedom- the golden shackles. How out the outside, it seems like someone is living the dream life, as Zack describes with Google's comfortable work spaces and free lunches, but inside they don't feel as fulfilled within so it feels like they have these shackles, on as Zack mentioned. Becoming a digital nomad provides people with ultimate freedom. Of where to live, what they want to do, who they want to be with, etc, in a way working on site 5 days a week can never provide an employee. I loved hearing how Zack has been able to recruit top talent all over the word because of his decision in hiring employees that work remotely. I'm interested to hear what are some challenges Zach faced in growing a global remote team, and how did he overcome them? #remoteyear #exgoogle #RYtraveler #Digitalnomad #nomadism #toptalent
