Adnoc Gas has awarded Worley Engineering the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract for new gas processing facilities at the Bab Gas Cap (BGC). This project aims to increase Adnoc Gas’ processing capacity by 20%, or over 1.8 billion standard cubic feet per day (scfd), with a Final Investment Decision (FID) expected in 2026. The facilities will optimize production of natural gas liquids, condensate, sales gas, and sulfur, supporting the UAE’s gas self-sufficiency goals. 🚨 Adnoc Gas selects contractors for Fifth Ruwais NGL Train Project! 🚨 Adnoc Gas has shortlisted contractors for the design update competition as part of the major project to install the fifth natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation train at the Ruwais gas processing facility in Abu Dhabi. With an output capacity of 22,000 tonnes per day (t/d), this train will play a significant role in expanding gas processing capabilities. Petrofac will continue to build on its role at one of the world’s largest gas processing plants, following the award of a new project by Abu Dhabi based ADNOC Gas. The contract, awarded to Petrofac Emirates, is valued at over US$330 million and involves the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a new gas compressor plant at the Habshan Complex in Abu Dhabi. The third EPC contract awarded to Petrofac at the vast Habshan Complex, this new scope includes the EPC of two gas compressor trains, associated utilities and power systems. The project will support ADNOC Gas to further increase output from the Complex in support of plans to supply pre-conditioned gas to the Ruwais LNG project plant. It is planned for completion in 2028.
