How to become a key opinion leader? I’ve been advised that, in order to raise a few hundred thousands euros to push ooval.io to the next step, I should become a key opinion leader in that field. I thought about two things I can do: - clarify what is my opinion in the first place and structure how I deliver the info - to convince investors and not clients, actually form an opinion not on « ticketing operations » but on ticketing as a market Any thoughts?

What advice would you give adland’s new crop of CEOs? 🧐 Spend your first three months truly connecting. Walk the floors, have meaningful conversations with your team, and discover what ignites their passion. Be curious, listen deeply, and build trust; show everyone you’re all in this together. Engage with your clients. Find out what keeps them up at night, what challenges they face and what excites them about your partnership. Remember, what worked at your last role may not be the best fit here. Put people at the heart of your vision. Set a bold direction, inspire your team to rally behind it, and empower them to bring it to life. Once you’ve done the listening and shaped your vision, communicate it clearly, consistently and often. A great strategy only works when everyone understands the story and their role in it. So what exactly is digital transformation? We have enlisted some expert insights to explore this topic in different ways and uncover aspects of transformation that are often overlooked: https://lnkd.in/dsB7Z2Fp Petra Wagner, Digital Transformation expert, is a firm believer in building a culture for continuous improvement. Her advice? Be clear about what is changing and why. Don’t just communicate new initiatives and plans to your teams, involve them into making changes. Technology is an essential part of transformation, but it is not the only one. Aleksandar Nedeljkovic, Mainstream CBO, highlighted the dangers of focusing on specific technology projects and not on a holistic business strategy. We are Mainstream are committed to helping companies transform in ways that bring value their users, processes and overall performance, regardless of technology. And we focus on providing our clients with specialised knowledge and insights that turn technology projects into strategic initiatives. Would you like to learn more about partnering with us? Taiko drummers. For this post, silent Taiko drummers (keeping the sound seemed like sensory overload when I’m trying to reflect). Just by watching these musicians, you can feel the rhythm and you know they’re in sync. It’s an image that’s stayed with me from our recent leadership meeting in Tokyo. Not just because they were mesmerizing. But because I was struck by how well they must all know and trust each other to be able to pull off such a seamless, intuitive performance. My last post was about becoming comfortable being uncomfortable, which seems to have resonated (honestly, I was overwhelmed by your kind and encouraging comments). It was glimpse of who I am, but after a few days with the JTI leadership team, it seems right to share a little about who we are and how we work together. We’re a big group – over 250 from around the world – but we’re cohesive. And over the last few years we’ve become more and more in tune. I like how relatively humble we are. Respectful, but with a real desire to welcome challenge. Even though the agenda in Tokyo was serious, we had fun (!) and there was an openness that I hadn`t felt before. You get much more out of a conference when everyone is at ease with each other and given endless opportunities to get involved. Presentations were short, leaving us plenty of space to discuss strategic topics – everything from investment posture to whether we understand the consumer in the best way. The result? Credibility across the team. A belief that not only are we heading in the right direction but that everyone knows how they will contribute to our success. I don`t believe I`m alone when I say that we all left Tokyo feeling tremendously positive, with a real sense of energy and excitement for what’s to come. Just like for the Taiko drummers, the conference was our stage, the showcase for years of hard work, collaboration, and to my mind, a brilliant team spirit.
