For my contacts growing up in the DACH region, and following numerous posts on ‘bad hires’ and their costs, I've built this carousel to try and define a good SaaS Sales rep. ▶️ 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 It seems logical, a sales rep who meets and exceeds his quotas will always be valued more highly. 𝘛𝘪𝘱: 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘲𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘢 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘊𝘝. ▶️ 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 If a candidate has performed very well in one company, there's no guarantee that they'll do the same in another (smaller structure, lesser-known product, longer sales cycles and so on). Hiring a candidate with experience of the field and contacts has enormous value in this territory. ▶️ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 When a start-up starts to perform well and wants to expand in Europe, it generally starts by tackling the German market. So, the ideal sales rep is someone who knows how to communicate within their company by understanding the codes of its culture, but who also knows how to deal with German customers/team members. Hiring great Sales Execs & Leaders in Germany can be a nightmare 😭 Recently, I helped a tech firm hire a Sales Director, DACH. They had been looking for over 6 months. Struggling to find good candidates.
