I've just been asked what advice I would give to other businesses who are considering using a training scheme for the first time to develop their staff. So here goes: Do take the time to understand your options. Success depends on finding the right fit between the business' needs and the training programme. At the same time, don't be afraid to experiment. We tried a few different approaches before finding what really worked for us. Along the way, we provided some valuable training opportunities and developed our own skills and knowledge. The more you get involved, the better the opportunities you can offer and the more your business can benefit.

Nottingham Community Housing Association has joined forces with us to launch a groundbreaking multi-trade apprenticeship program aimed at educating the next generation of skilled tradespeople. This collaboration has successfully recruited two cohorts of apprentices, with the next cohort already in the planning. 👷 Championing Apprenticeships in Construction On Wednesday, 4th December, Jelena had the privilege of representing One Stop Hire at the final Cross Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force (CCATF) meeting of 2024 in London. 🌟 CCATF brings together over 250 members from Construction and Tool Hire sectors, all united by a commitment to apprenticeship training. The meeting, chaired by Martyn Price (Chairman of CCATF) and organised by Chris Selby, included insightful discussions on key industry topics and updates from government representatives. Attendees and speakers included major organisations such as Balfour Beatty plc, NHBC NOCN Group CITB and the Department for Education.
