🌟 Did You Know? 🌟 Adoption costs can range from $25,000 to $50,000, and often are even more. For many families, this financial barrier is a heavy burden—but it doesn’t have to be. At Omnah, we believe finances shouldn’t stand in the way of bringing children into loving, Christ-centered homes. That’s why we offer give-forward adoption grants to help families cover the costs of adoption. Every dollar we offer has been paid forward by others just like you who have a heart to see children come into loving homes. ➡️ Here’s How It Works: 1️⃣ Families Apply: Christian families in need of financial assistance can apply for a grant through our simple application process. 2️⃣ Support from Donors: Thanks to the generosity of our community, 100% of donations go directly to supporting adoptive families. 3️⃣ Paid-Forward Model: Families who receive support are encouraged to pay it forward by giving to other families in the future. It’s a beautiful cycle of generosity and care. 🙌 Want to get involved? Whether through donations or prayers, YOU can make a lasting difference. Two Wolves: A Powerful Story of Hope & Transformation Last night, I had the privilege of attending the annual play by Salaam Balaat Trust – Two Wolves. The performance wasn’t just a theatrical event, but a poignant reminder of the challenges faced by street and working children in our society. It’s a story that echoes the choices we all make in life, and how sometimes, it’s the most vulnerable who need our support the most. Salaam Balaat Trust has always been an organization close to my heart. In 2004-05, While working with Childline 1098 as a coordinator, I’ve seen firsthand how they tirelessly work towards the rehabilitation of these children, helping them break free from cycles of poverty, neglect, and hardship. This organization isn’t just about providing food and shelter – it’s about offering a sense of belonging, safety, and the opportunity to rebuild their futures. For me personally, Salaam Balaat Trust has installed the core of rehabilitation in my own heart. Witnessing their work and being part of their community has taught me that change isn’t just about helping people survive, but about empowering them to thrive. Appeal for Support: If you’re looking to support a cause that truly makes a difference, I encourage you to consider Salaam Balaat Trust. Your donations can help fund their ongoing efforts to educate, rehabilitate, and nurture children who have nowhere else to turn. Together, we can be the positive change these children need – just like the two wolves in the story, we all have the choice to decide which wolf we feed: the one of indifference or the one of compassion. How you can help: Make a donation Volunteer your time or skills Share the mission and raise awareness Let’s stand together to create a brighter future for these children and ensure they have the opportunity to grow, learn, and flourish. #SalaamBalaatTrust #TwoWolvesPlay #ChildrensRights #StreetChildren #GivingBack #SocialImpact #DonateForACause #Empowerment #Rehabilitation #SupportTheCause

🚨 Today is #GivingTuesday, and Urban Triage is on a mission to make history! 🚨 We have set a bold goal to raise $40,000 to support our community and provide life-changing resources to youth aging out of foster care. Here’s why this matters: ➡️ 20,000 young people age out of foster care each year in the U.S. ➡️ 1 in 5 will face homelessness within a year of aging out. ➡️ Only 50% are employed by age 24. ➡️ Less than 3% will earn a college degree by age 25. With your support, we can provide housing, job readiness, trauma recovery, and peer support for young adults who need it most. Every dollar makes an impact. Why Choose Urban Triage? Unlike businesses that focus on profit, we are community-driven—100% of your donations are reinvested into programs that directly serve the people who need it most. Nonprofits are the backbone of positive change, and we need your support this holiday season to continue our mission. 🔗 Donate Today: https://lnkd.in/gBZ4-Fr2 📣 Share this post, amplify our message, and help us reach our goal! Thank you for your support in empowering our youth and strengthening our community. Together, we can make a lasting difference. 💪🏾 #UrbanTriage #SupportOurYouth #CommunityImpact #NonprofitMatters #DonateNow #MakeADifference

It takes a village, and we are so thankful for ours. Together, we make a remarkable impact on vulnerable children and the families caring for them. Friends, families, partners, and supporters— you mean so much to us and you make this work possible. Truly, we couldn’t do this without you. With #GivingTuesday approaching, we asked our champion donors why they choose to support families alongside us, and we consider it a gift to share some of their stories with you. As a foster parent, Angela’s story reminds us of how vital it is for kids and families to feel seen, heard, and cared for from day one. “While we also support larger non-profits, we prefer to donate closer to home with organizations that are change-makers in our own community. Foster the Family provides wrap-around care for children experiencing foster care and the families caring for them. For the child, the exit from their everyday lives is often without warning. Similarly, for the individual or families taking them in, little notice is given, often less than an hour! During an already bumpy transition, most children arrive without necessities like clothing, backpacks, or toiletries. And sure, these may seem like small things, but without feeling comfortable with the small things, it’s difficult to grasp the significance of, let alone focus on, the bigger things – even kids recognize the importance of basic needs and how it makes them feel. FTF has identified this speed bump and made it easier for families and kids to not worry about the small stuff in the early days, and instead focus on the bigger picture of safety, security, and care. This was our experience as a new foster family when we accepted our first child, just two weeks after our family’s approval. Other than the social worker who brought him to our home, FTF was the very first knock on our door delivering a lifesaving "parachute of goodies" for all of us in the home, and we are forever grateful! Our family is frequently asked about our journey and how one might help us or the foster community. If this is a question you’ve asked yourself, please consider donating to Foster the Family.” - Angela #BeTheVillage #FosterTheFamily

I'm Turning 18 should be a milestone, not a barrier. But for thousands of young adults aging out of foster care, 18 marks the beginning of an uphill battle—with no family to turn to, no safety net, and no clear path forward. They deserve more than just a start. They deserve a future. At Connections Homes, your generosity helps us provide: 🧡Safe, stable relationships with mentors who offer guidance and support. 📚 Educational and career opportunities that open doors to success. 🎤 Empowerment programs like Amplify Your Voice, giving young adults the confidence to share their stories. 🏠 Life skills training to build independence and hope. This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to help us rewrite the narrative for these brave young adults. Your donation goes directly toward giving them not just a chance, but a future filled with possibility. 👉 Join Donate today at www.connectionshomes.orgIf you can’t donate, sharing this post can be just as powerful. Together, we can remind these young adults they are not alone, and their story doesn’t end at 18.

With every donation, we’re closer to creating a place where foster youth feel safe, valued, and hopeful. For many foster youth, the feeling of being truly seen and loved has been out of reach for far too long. They’ve faced the pain of being rejected, abandoned, or exploited. But together, we can change that. RAISE THE ROOF is more than just a campaign. it’s a movement to create a safe haven where foster youth can find the protection and stability they need to heal and thrive. Every dollar you contribute brings us one step closer to creating a space where they can finally feel safe, valued, and hopeful for the future. Magdalena’s Daughters Village will be a place where these young people can grow, access vital resources, and have the opportunity to break free from the cycle of trauma. But we need YOUR help to get there. Your donation isn’t just a gift; it’s a lifeline. Every contribution, no matter the size, is part of a greater effort to give these youth the chance to live a life free from fear and full of possibility. Help us build this dream. With all that is going on in this world and after all that has happened in history, one thing that will never change is "Our Children" cannot help themselves. We need to protect the children on Earth, no matter what they look like or where they are from, or what color or sex they are... This morning, it was my blessing to meet up with Gina Martinez with Texas-Based CHILDREN AT RISK at Sundt Construction's corporate office and give her a tour and discuss their non-profit and the SUNDT FOUNDATION. Children At Risk serves as a catalyst for change to improve the quality of life for children through strategic research, public policy analysis, education, collaboration, and advocacy. They work so hard to make policy recommendations to policy makers that make the biggest impact for our children. Alarming stats show that: · 333 million children live in poverty. · 12 million children die before reaching their fifth year. · 100 million homeless children living in the streets. · 250,000 children die every week from diseases and malnutrition. · 2 million children are objects of sexual abuse - child pornography and demand for child prostitutes has increased globally. · 20 million children are refugees or internally displaced in their homeland. · 10 million children are child slaves. Since 1890, Sundt Construction has been known as the contractor with heart having been known to give back to our communities where we live and work. In 1999, the Sundt Foundation was established where our employee-owners contribute their own dollars which is then matched dollar-for-dollar and given to charitable organizations like Children at Risk. Our annual survey allows our employee-owners to chose where they want their contributions spent and it is no surprise that every year we focus on Children Issues (sick children, homeless, children, abused, children), elderly, homeless, veterans, and domestic violence. Sundt Foundation has given over 14M in grants to local 501(c)3 organizations since inception. #charity #501c3nonprofit #childreninneed #givingback #concreteconstruction #industrialconstruction #buildingconstruction #transportationindustry #renewableenergy

Giving to widows and children is an act of compassion and community support that can significantly impact the lives of those in need. Widows, often left without the primary breadwinner, face immense challenges in economically sustaining their households. The loss of a spouse can lead to financial instability, emotional distress, and social isolation. Similarly, children in these households may experience disruptions in their education, reduced access to healthcare, and limited opportunities for personal development. Providing support to these vulnerable groups can take many forms. Donations can include financial assistance, educational scholarships, and provision of daily essentials like food and clothing. Additionally, dedicated programs aimed at the empowerment of widows through skill development and job placements can facilitate economic independence. Support systems and community programs can also play a critical role. Organizing community events or support groups can help break the cycle of isolation and foster a sense of belonging and resilience. Meanwhile, volunteering time for tutoring or mentorship can positively influence the future prospects of affected children. Ultimately, giving to widows and children not only addresses immediate needs but also contributes to the long-term well-being and stability of the community. It reflects the values of empathy and social responsibility, emphasizing that the welfare of one is the concern of all. We will appreciate all support , We can do it alone ,the economy is not easy on everyone. God bless you as you support us with donations. #everyone #donations #support
