It is officially the holiday season at OnBoard! We kicked it off with a pizza party and tree trimming the 10’ tree in the lobby yesterday. Special thanks to all who attended and helped. #EnjoytheJourney
We're helping agents get a head start on hot Q4 accounts these next two weeks. Today, we're spotlighting food trucks.

It’s officially football season! We love celebrating our favorite teams and whether you are a manager, employee or customer at a venue we have tips, tricks, and resources for everyone to make sure your next watch party or tailgate goes smoothly. Follow these easy tips for a safe night out.
Water stations: It’s unlikely that someone will stand in line to order a water. You can encourage customers to drink responsibly by having water stations throughout your venue.
Offer food: Another great strategy to prevent overconsumption is offering people food. Whether that means pointing them to your food menu, bringing breadsticks by, or investing in a popcorn machine.
Drink specials: Create signature drinks or drink specials with lower alcohol content and promote them. This can be a great way to move products and encourage responsible drinking by slowing people down.
Huddle up: Have conversations about uncomfortable and unsafe behavior and all the options to interrupt and help out often. We’ve created an easy step-by-step guide to help at https://lnkd.in/ga6_nZJJ
While we can’t promise your team is going to win, we know that the best way to keep people coming back is to give them a fun, safe night out. Learn more about how to give your customers a safe night out by following the link in our bio.

People often ask how I manage running 3 restaurants and still find time for myself.
Well, here’s the truth.
When you own a restaurant, you never really “clock out.”
But that doesn’t mean I’m always tied to the kitchen or running around handling emergencies.
Here’s what my typical Sunday looks like:
↳ Planning out the week’s specials.
↳ Checking inventory to avoid surprises.
↳ Fine-tuning our next big campaign.
But I also make time for myself:
↳ A morning coffee to start the day right.
↳ A long walk to clear my head.
↳ Quality time with family and friends.
And yes, I still squeeze in time for:
↳ Keeping up with industry trends.
↳ Connecting with my team to get ahead of the week.
↳ Reflecting on what went well and where we can improve.
I may not be “off,” but Sunday is when I set the stage for success.
How do you prep for your week?

Are you giving your Customers what they want?
One of my mentors was managing a hotel and he had a server who was making more tips than any other server. One day, he asked him what he was doing to earn so much more than everyone else and the server simply said:
“I give the customer whatever they want. If they want me to pour a bottle of ketchup on my head, I’ll do it. I don’t embarrass them or make them second guess themselves. I serve them.”
Now, I’m not saying you need to go out and pour ketchup on your head but are you giving your customers what they want or do you have a policy in place that is inhibiting the level of service you’re able to provide?
