WiFi protocol The WiFi protocol can be said to be one of the most common wireless protocols in our daily lives. It works in the 2.4G/5G frequency band. When used, it can be directly connected to the Internet (such as routers, etc.), and can also be used as a local area network for output transmission. From the introduction of the IEEE 802.11 protocol in 1997, which marked the formation of the WiFi protocol, to the present, the WiFi protocol has gone through 6 versions, reaching the current WiFi6. In the past few years, with the continuous rise of smart phones and home WiFi routers, WiFi has taken this opportunity to develop crazily.
