🌐🚀 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀: 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 #𝗜𝟰𝗧𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 🌐🚀 As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Seminar on the Governance of Digital Platforms and Digital Human Rights in Paris on February 21-22, 2024, we wanted to take a moment to share the journey behind organizing this groundbreaking full-hybrid event. Creating a seminar that blends physical presence with virtual participation is no small feat, especially when it spans multiple time zones. Beyond the Paris seminar, our ambition is to foster a global network dynamics, inclusive of every voice and every perspective. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗺 : Perhaps our greatest challenge is navigating the complexities of time zones to ensure maximum interaction and team work. We aim to create an environment where experts from around the world could contribute equally, regardless of their geographical location. Balancing schedules to accommodate speakers and participants across continents meant rethinking the traditional seminar format. 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁 : Adopting a full-hybrid model is a bold move. It require us to innovate, to experiment with new technologies, and to ensure seamless interaction between those in Paris and those joining remotely. This model not only tests our technical capabilities but also our ability to maintain engagement and foster meaningful discussions in a dual environment. It's also an organizational challenge mixing together a world cafe format and a global hackathon : coaches piloting teams all along the 24 hour sprints, and document coordinators swapping from a team to another. As we count down to the seminar, we reflect on these challenges not as obstacles but as stepping stones to a more connected, inclusive, and engaged global community. Let's make history together. See you in Paris, and online, as we chart the course for ethical digital governance in 2024 and beyond. #DigitalGovernance #HybridEvent #Innovation #GlobalCollaboration #DigitalHumanRights
