Option’s CloudGate Ethernet shines in the Energy Monitoring project between Ecompany and H.Essers. At several H.Essers sites, Ecompany supplied the hardware for their energy monitoring system (EMS). This hardware included, next to Option’s CloudGate Ethernet Gateway with Smart Metering Card, sophisticated data loggers and electricity meters. The CloudGate Ethernet connects to the wired internet and can be fitted with various expansion cards including the Smart Metering Card: reading in M-Bus (via CMeX), pulses, smart meter P1 or Modbus RTU (via RS485). Via a LuvitRED programming interface, all kinds of flows can be set up to re-export the data.
