ABOUT H.ESSERS H.Essers was founded in 1928 by Henri Essers and has since become one of the leading companies in Europe for logistics services for sectors such as chemicals, pharma, infra and parts. Some of our warehouses are designed to safely store flammables, protected by a light-foam extinguishing system. If two flame detectors pick up the same source of fire, they trigger an alarm, giving operators 30 seconds to leave the compartment. After this time, the entire compartment — roughly 1,500 square meters — is filled with a light-foam emulsion that effectively smothers the flames. This two-detector requirement minimizes the risk of false alarms while ensuring swift and thorough response to actual fires. Want to learn more about our safety standards ?
