If you use RevenueCat for in-app-purchases in your iOS app, I will prevent you from feeling like you just scammed your friend ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ So... If you create a promo code for a non-consumable in-app-purchase, like a Lifetime membership offer as I did, RevenueCat will detect this as a 'Purchase' when someone redeems your code. They are not being charged, but you will see it as a transaction on your RevenueCat dashboard. As stated on their website, this is a limitation with Apple and how they handle these promo codes or whatever. So, RevenueCat doesn't recommend doing this.
