🚨 Important Update for Businesses Using Windows 10 🚨 Did you know that Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 soon? As of October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide critical updates or security patches for Windows 10, which could leave your business exposed to potential security vulnerabilities, compliance risks, and system slowdowns. 😬 How will this affect your business? Increased costs: Without security updates, businesses may face heightened cybersecurity risks, which can lead to costly breaches. Decreased productivity: Older systems are prone to more frequent issues, impacting performance and efficiency. Compliance risks: Many industries require up-to-date systems to meet security regulations. Using an unsupported OS could put your business at legal risk. 💡 The Solution: Upgrade to Windows 11 Windows 11 offers modern features that enhance both security and productivity, including: Advanced security features to protect your data and systems. Improved user interface for better efficiency and user experience. Seamless integration with cloud services like Microsoft 365 for more flexible work environments. ⚙️ Understanding Minimum Requirements It’s essential to note that Windows 11’s minimum requirements are designed to ensure the OS runs, but meeting these requirements doesn’t necessarily guarantee top performance for all tasks, especially if you rely on third-party applications like your Accounting software, Outlook, or MS Excel. Upgrading without considering these performance factors could impact the efficiency of certain processes in your daily workflows. Ensuring compatibility with all the applications your team depends on is crucial for a smooth transition to Windows 11. Ready to future-proof your business? We’re here to make the transition to Windows 11 seamless and stress-free. 🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 With the latest feature update of Windows 11 (24H2), we are thrilled to introduce a new Security Baseline. This baseline captures new policy settings for Windows, along with recommended values and configurations, to help enterprise customers secure their endpoint devices more effectively. What are Security Baselines? Security baselines are groups of Microsoft-recommended configuration settings that explain their security implications. These settings are based on feedback from Microsoft security engineering teams, product groups, partners, and customers. They provide a well-known and proven industry-standard configuration that helps increase flexibility and reduce costs. Why are Security Baselines Needed? In today's constantly evolving security threat landscape, organizations need guidance on configuring various security features. Security baselines bring together expert knowledge to help organizations navigate the large number of controls and determine the appropriate values for each setting. This ensures that devices are compliant with security standards and helps mitigate contemporary security threats without causing operational issues. Please check out the release note, download the baseline, test the recommended configurations, and customize / implement as appropriate. https://lnkd.in/gqK_fM2P For more details about Windows Security Baselines, check it here https://lnkd.in/gmCwAyem Stay secure and up-to-date with Windows 11! #Windows11 #SecurityBaseline #SecurityComplianceToolkit #EnterpriseSecurity #Microsoft Rick Munck Michael Grimm Ekta Anandani

🚨 Important PSA for Windows 10 Users 🚨 Wavestone's Future of Work conducts a technological watch over best-in-class operating systems' release. Check-out this important news about Windows 10 👇: As of October 14, 2025, Windows 10 will officially enter its end-of-support phase, marking the conclusion of Microsoft’s free support and updates for this operating system. This announcement is a critical reminder for businesses and users still running Windows 10 on their devices. 💻⚠️ 🔹 Why does this matter? Microsoft’s end-of-support milestone means no more updates, security patches, or tech support for Windows 10. In other words, devices still running on this OS may become increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats as they no longer receive regular security enhancements. 🔒⚠️ 📌 For companies relying on Windows 10, here’s what you should consider: 1️⃣ Transition to Windows 11 🆕: With Windows 11 now the focus, migrating sooner rather than later will ensure continuity in receiving security updates and access to new features. 2️⃣ Security Risks 🔐: Running unsupported software can expose systems to malware and other vulnerabilities, impacting your organization’s data protection policies. 3️⃣ Operational Impact 📈: If your organization depends on Windows 10 for daily tasks, take time to assess how end-of-support might impact productivity and plan an efficient transition. 🔍 It’s worth noting that while Windows 10 will still function after the support deadline, moving to Windows 11 provides a future-ready experience with enhanced security and productivity features designed for modern workflows. 🚀📲 Microsoft’s decision to phase out Windows 10 highlights the importance of staying current with technology, especially as remote and hybrid work continue to shape the modern workplace. Proactive planning now can mitigate potential disruptions and maximize the benefits of the latest operating system innovations. At Wavestone, we help companies navigate and secure these types of transitions.
