I've always loved YouTube No offense to all the other social platforms out there, which have their own great advantages, I always felt that YouTube is the right place for almost every brand who wish not just to expand their awareness but to also drive results and boost their growth. There are numerous reason for this, and even more factual performance numbers to back it, but the core explanation is the attention span - YT Shorts aside, people are going to YT to watch long-form, rich content. This is a fertile ground for advertisers to grab the attention of their target audience when the latter is willing to give it. However, with the ever evolving features on other social platforms that allow both brands and creators to get more of the attention they are given, YT was somehow dragged behind in that sense. This is why I was so thrilled that the new YT shopping features have (finally) been released! These new tools will make it easier for brands and creators to promote products and increase revenue from older content. The updates include: 🛒 Shopping Collections 🤝 The Affiliate Hub ⚡ Enhanced tagging 📹 Fourthwall All these will empower YT creators to make more of their content, benefit the brands that work with them and align both parties on their shared goals - improving results that will lead to longer-term and more substantial collaborations. I'm excited to see how this will impact the YT creators economy and the partnerships that are built around it. #creatoreconomy #youtubecreators #partnerships
