Coating pipes play an important role in the fields of energy, infrastructure and industry because of their excellent anti-corrosion, anti-wear and low maintenance costs. With the growth of global demand for sustainable infrastructure and energy solutions, the application and demand of coating pipes in the market are gradually increasing. Among them, the common coatings are mainly 3PE/PP, single/double layer FBE, coal tar epoxy resin and so on. Among them, 3PE/3PP is the most widely used. One type of roof coating for flat roof structures is chlorosulfonated polyethylene, which is made of synthetic rubber. A main advantage of this type of coating is that it can be heated to join into one sheet and then be fastened to the roof with a simple adhesive.

What is Polyethylene (PE) lining, and why do we use it? Polyethylene is a versatile thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications. Why choose PE Lining for your pipework? 🔷 Smooth Surface: The PE rotational lining process provides one of the smoothest pipe coatings available, leading to significantly reduced system friction. 🔷 Durability: The uniform lining ensures long-lasting performance and higher corrosion resistance. 🔷 Versatility: Difficult geometrics are easier to line when using PE vs GRE 🔧 Find out more more about our cutting-edge solutions and how we can assist your pipe maintenance projects by DMing us 📩 #PipeMaintenance #ShipRepair #Polyethylene

Fusible plugs are drum closures made of impact-resistant nylon, polyethylene, or polypropylene resin. When steel drums are outfitted with fusible plugs and paired with a properly designed foam-water sprinkler system, they are one of the safest choices for shipping and storing flammable liquids and combustible materials. Why? Because fusible plugs melt at 490 degrees Fahrenheit, which relieves internal drum pressure by allowing gasses to vent, preserving the drum’s structural integrity. But wait, there's more...using fusible plugs also allows steel drums to be stacked four-high when stored! #ISDI #SustainableSteelDrums #SteelRecycles #SteelDrums #IndustrialSteelDrums #IndustrialPackaging

When deciding between polyethylene (PE) and PVC pipes for your project, it’s crucial to consider more than just the initial costs. Initial Costs: PVC pipes typically come with a lower upfront cost compared to PE pipes, which can be a significant factor for projects with tight budgets. Long-Term Savings: PE pipes, although possibly more expensive at the outset, offer notable long-term benefits. They are known for their exceptional durability, resistance to corrosion, and a leak-free lifespan. This can lead to lower maintenance and replacement costs over time. PE pipes can be repaired by welding in new sections, whereas PVC pipes often need costly ductile iron fittings for repairs and may require more frequent maintenance, especially in corrosive environments or where invasive roots can damage the joints. Project Size: While PVC might offer immediate savings for smaller projects, PE pipes are often the more cost-effective choice for larger projects where long-term performance and reliability are essential. The fully welded PE system guarantees a leak-free network, while PVC systems, which use a variety of materials and rely on rubber rings for sealing, may face issues with leaks and require more frequent maintenance. Ultimately, balancing initial costs with long-term durability and maintenance needs will help you make the best choice for your project.
