Biofabrication, the cutting-edge technology that creates three-dimensional living tissue structures, holds immense promise for regenerative medicine. 🦴 🤔But how do we maintain shape fidelity while allowing cell proliferation? Researchers from the Izmir Institute of Technology, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, and Technische Universität Dresden recently tackled this challenge. Their study aimed to develop a minimalistic bioink formulation composed of GEL, decellularized bone (DB) particles, and cells, and evaluate the effect of different DB particle sizes and concentrations within the GEL matrix on cell behavior. 🧪 Curious about their findings and how GeSiM played a role in this development?
