Today is Transgender Day of Visibility! In recent years, there has been progress regarding trans visibility and representation in media, politics, and everyday life. However, we still have a long way to go in securing rights and equity for transgender people. The ACLU is tracking hundreds of bills in legislatures across the country that aim to dismantle the rights of Trans people. How can you help? 🌈 Visibly advocate for trans people and their families. 🏳️⚧️ Trust trans people when they say they feel unsafe. 📢 Amplify trans creators. I’d definitely recommend following A.C. Fowlkes, PhD (he/him), Liam Paschall, and Reina Campbell for content on transgender rights and equity. Just to name a few 😉 Keep speaking up for trans rights, even when it isn't popular.
