As we close the year, 2024 has been a memorable year for Partnership Bureau with our first full year of activity moving from thinking to practice. Here are some our highlights: 🛠Royal Academy of Engineering: Working with the Leaders in Innovation Fellowships and Frontiers programme to assess diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) through our power, equity and access (PEA) tool and provide practical and grounded actions - Clémentine Flack Lisa Rose Alice Radley Alice Marks. 🙋🏾 🙋🏾♂️ Small International Development Charities Network (SIDCN): Delivering a headline workshop on our Principled Power approach and how to practically implement this with international development charity leaders across the UK - Janine Edwards Amber Shotton. 🌍 Co-founding and delivering the inaugural Africa Non Profit Summit with NCVO Ghana - National Consortium For Voluntary Organisations Ghana. With 180+ attendees from CBOs to NGOs across Ghana joining the summit to learn and share about the non profit experience - Shirley Abedi-Boafo(Friar) Michael Acquah. 👩🏾🔬 👨🏾🔬 We joined the Ghana Science & Tech Explorer Prize (GSTEP) consortia to build strategy, evidence and sustainability for the initiative, as we look to scale across Ghana - DreamOval Foundation Practical Education Network Shulem Lake. 🔎 We were selected for the Enhancing Impact Evaluation in Africa (ENICA) programme run by the African Population and Health Research Center to build evidence for GSTEP on the impact of the understanding and skills relating to STEM with a research paper - Boscow Leah Mwangi Dr. Benard Ondiek, Ph.D Dr. Vincent Were, PhD Mchungwani Saad Bonface Ingumba. 🤝🏾 Facilitating an alliance of Fondation Botnar partners in Ghana to develop solidarity, support and learning for a sustained and meaningful impact on youth- STAR-Ghana Foundation Ecorys NAP GHANA Eastern Tech Hub Foundation DreamOval Foundation Susanna Hausmann-Muela Siddhartha Jha Zur Oren. 🔭 Joining Making Spaces UCL as the Africa Hub to find STE(A)M practitioners that will join the accreditation course on STEM equity, which focuses on understanding intersection of power, social justice and inclusion in STEM - Meghna Nag Chowdhuri Esme Freedman.
