EXPLAINER: FOUR important water sector accountability pillars and how they draw their mandate from the Constitution of Kenya 2010. Refreshing insights at the Technical Working Group on WASH conference organized by KEWASNET,the Kenya Water and Sanitation Civil Society Network. This is organised by Kenya Water and Sanitation Civil Society Network through Kenya Water and Health Organisation (KWAHO). This is under the SSI Project that seeks to strengthen WASH Governance and water supply services in Kenya, implemented by PACIDA and funded by Welthungerhilfe (WHH) through the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. How about situation like : Integrity issues at water Authorities/service providers, Slow processes like Amendment of water Act 2016 included PPP & include/extending the definition of WSPs are still in question. This means, One Voice to bridge gaps on Accountability.
