With recent PFAS regulation, the global demand for PFAS testing market is expected to grow from $240M in 2023 to $540M in 2028… but how will the market handle this demand? I have spoken with many industry leaders in recent months that are setting up PFAS initiatives and increasing capacity through acquisition. My initial thoughts – are some companies being reactive in their approach and will they be able to keep up with client’s demands? Like-wise, will smaller companies/labs be left in the wake of larger players such as Eurofins, Pace, SGS, ALS etc?

Congratulations to the team! Another positive success story! A biotech company wanted to focus its risk management efforts on its most vulnerable suppliers. However, with over 1,000 individual suppliers and multiple materials sourced from each, developing a robust critical list was a complex task. We enabled the client to develop a targeted hit list for investment/mitigation based on vulnerability and GP exposure  – rather than the traditional procurement approach of measuring risk by how much is spent with a supplier. The client can now also put a financial loss against each supplier site, which facilitated the cost-benefit discussions for mitigation.
