The best advice I was ever given when considering the entrepreneurial path to success is: "Get comfortable being uncomfortable." If you're expecting a straight line - being successful as an entrepreneur is no place for the straighty-180 mindset! Embrace the mess, take confidence in unravelling the confusion and always stay focused on your vision to guide you through the inevitable curveballs along the way. Strange as it sounds - you'll come to revel in these over time.

Tip #1: When you're an entrepreneur, please do not allow your family dynamics to interfere in your business operations. No one else but you stands to lose or gain from a decision about how you handle your affairs. For those you would generally seek advice from - as much as they may be well intentioned - imposing on you how to manage your livelihood only boils down to a stroke to their own egos. Do not allow anyone to let you second-guess yourself. If you didn't know what you wanted or what you were doing, you wouldn't still have a functioning venture with clients, exposure, returning customers, good feedback etc..
