Tip #1: When you're an entrepreneur, please do not allow your family dynamics to interfere in your business operations. No one else but you stands to lose or gain from a decision about how you handle your affairs. For those you would generally seek advice from - as much as they may be well intentioned - imposing on you how to manage your livelihood only boils down to a stroke to their own egos. Do not allow anyone to let you second-guess yourself. If you didn't know what you wanted or what you were doing, you wouldn't still have a functioning venture with clients, exposure, returning customers, good feedback etc.. It is yours, own it!! - not anyone else's business :)
